As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, the firm is adding the name of its longtime partner, Joseph P. Hanley, to rebrand as McDermott, Quilty, Miller and Hanley, LLP (“MQMH”). At the same time, we are expanding our bench, by promoting Nicholas J. Zozula from Senior Associate to Partner and elevating Thomas P. Miller to Senior Associate.
“Adding Joe’s name is a natural progression for the firm, which he has helped grow and develop since the beginning,” said Stephen V. Miller, Managing Partner.
“Rebranding with Joe’s name and continued leadership, along with these key promotions and new hires, will bring greater depth to our established practice areas. Nick has helped to expand the firm’s land use development focus, and we welcome him as a Partner, while promoting Tom and hiring two new associates.”
Attorney Joe Hanley has been a part of the firm since its founding in 1998. Elected as Partner in 2006, he has led and expanded its land use, zoning and permitting practice for mid to large-scale real estate developments in mixed-use, residential, commercial, hospitality, biotechnology/life sciences and institutional sectors.
Attorney Nick Zozula joined the firm as an Associate in 2013 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2018. As a new Partner, he will continue to focus on land use development, zoning and licensing law.
Attorney Tom Miller, promoted from Associate to Senior Associate, concentrates on alcoholic beverages and entertainment licensing, zoning and permitting law.
