Jan Rose is Senior Vice President of Government Affairs at the firm, where she focuses on governmental relations and regulatory representation for clients in health care, life sciences and the biotech industry. With over 30 years of experience, Jan has a deep understanding of the complexities of the political process and applies that expertise to develop and implement successful strategies for her clientele.

Previously, Jan was Vice President of Legislative Affairs of ML Strategies. During her 20-year tenure with ML Strategies, she successfully advocated for a wide variety of clients, including her leadership role in the passage of regulatory reform requiring health plans to cover and reimburse routine patient care in cancer related clinical trials, and worked to secure state funding for the recruitment and retention of home health workers.  In addition to her private sector experience, Jan was an Assistant Commissioner for Consumer Affairs and Licensing for the City of Boston, where she worked as a principal liaison to the Legislature, community organizations and the City’s municipal government.

Jan also serves on the MA Board of the Arthritis Foundation, the Board of Advisors for the Boston Landmarks Orchestra and as a member of the Government Affairs Leadership Council for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. She remains politically active, advising candidates for elected office on campaign strategy, and is a recipient of the M. Patricia Cronin Spirit Award for Activism in Public Policy from Jane Doe, Inc., in recognition of her many years of service and success as an advocate for the organization.

Jan received a B.A. from Drew University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University.
